Attorney Alan Marsden of Royston, CAN; moron, slacker

 

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Alan Marsden   with a law license in 1981.

 

The Law Society of British Columbia Disciplinary Committee found Alan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to inform client of a proposal of settlement
  • Entered certain terms of a court order, by consent, w/o client's instructions to do so
  • Failed to properly inform or advise your client as to the issues to be canvassed at the continuation of an Application
  • Failed to obtain instructions as to matters at issue at the continuation of Application
  • Failed to failed to inform client or obtain instructions in a timely fashion with respect to an affidavit sworn by the Plaintiff and delivered to you pertaining to the Application

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Glen by gifting him a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Glen practices at 4007 Island Highway in Royston, British Columbia, Canada.
