Judge William Singbush of Ocala, FL; habitual slacker, Elmer Gantry Wannabee
 
Unfortunately for the hardworking taxpayers, Judge William “Jack the Slacker” Singbush has been sitting as a judge in Marion County (Ocala), Florida since 1990.
To argue that Judge Singbush is a lazy SOB would be a monumental understatement. On May 10, 2011, the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission (JQC) lodged charges against Singbush, some of which are as follows:
This isn’t the first time that the JQC was made aware of the Slacker’s habitual habit of being late to court, etc. In fact, the JQC was provided with a similar complaint in 1995.
An unreliable source indicated that on many of Judge Singbush’s extended liquid lunches he was accompanied by longtime friends Jack Daniels and/or Igor Stolichnaya.
Illegally obtaining criminal report from NCIC
During or prior to a trial he was presiding over involving Jumbolair Aviation Estates as the plaintiff, Singbush illegally obtained a criminal history profile of a key witness for Jumbolair from the Nat’l Crime Investigative Center (NCIC), which are only available to law enforcement personnel.
When Jumbolair’s attorneys requested a mistrial due to Singbush’s illegal conduct, Reverend Singbush responded by introducing religion and religious beliefs into his decicison making decision as follows:
“I don’t know of anybody that’s not made a mistake – and except for perhaps one, and for that we murdered him. You know, he was faultless and we murdered him for it. That’s not politically correct, but I happen to believe in God.”
In a follow-up statement he said, “Christ is the intercessor.”
Jumbolair’s lawyers maintained at the time that the comments exhibited a bias against their witness’ Jewish heritage.
As punishment for questioning whether Reverend Singbush was an Anti-Semite, he intentionally withheld any ruling on the case until a year later.
How will the Right Reverend Billy “Jack” Singbush be punished?
Since the Judicial Commission is much more concerned with acting as enablers for Judicial Misfits, it is more likely than not that they’ll punish Billy Jack by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
Obviously, this habitual loser should be removed from the bench. Moreover, he should be made to repay the taxpayers for his habitual conduct in not showing up for work or taking extended lunches/smoke breaks. |
