Attorney Charles Saul of Pittsburgh, PA; apologist for convict lawyer

The state of Pennsylvania presented Charles H. Saul with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from George Washington University School of Law.

In one matter, Charlie decided to don a pair of Industrial Strength Knee Pads while acting as a character witness for attorney Robert M. Danenberg even though Danenberg was convicted in federal court of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

An article dealing with Danenberg’s criminal conviction can be viewed by visiting the URL listed at the end of this article.

Charlie laughingly testified as follows at Charlie’s disciplinary hearing.

  • Charlie’s a trustworthy individual
  • Charlie’s criminal conduct completely out of character
  • Charlie was stand-up guy and acted with integrity
  • Charlie won’t defraud anyone again

Hopefully, Danenberg reimbursed Charlie for the costs he incurred in purchasing a pair of Industrial Strength Knee Pads so that he could properly genuflect in his honor.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Charlie practices with Margolis Edelstein at 525 William Penn Place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
