The state of Pennsylvania presented Benjamin Hart Perkel with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School,

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Benny guilty of the following misconduct.

While employed as an independent staff attorney with a Philadelphia law firm over a two-year period Benny,

overreported by 418.5 hours, or approximately 32 percent, the time he spent reviewing documents and

performing related tasks in one client matter.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Benny by gifting him, with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
