Attorney George Robertie of Boulder, CO; convicted felon

The state of Colorado provided George F. Robertie with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Tulsa Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found George guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter,  George attempted to obtain a controlled substance when he took a blank prescription form from his doctor, filled in false information on the prescription form, and submitted it to a pharmacy. The potential injuries of respondent’s actions include defrauding a pharmacist and illegally obtaining a controlled substance. Respondent pled guilty in Denver District Court to the charge of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or deceit, which is a class 5 felony.

As direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished George by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), George practices with the Law Office of George F. Robertie, Inc.  at 3517 Smuggler Way in Boulder, Colorado.
