Attorney Morris Starkman of Camden, NJ; repeat offender

 

The state of New Jersey presented Morris Starman with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

 

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Morris guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Morris’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to disburse to clients $15,329.69 in interest earned on trust funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Morris by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

 

Morris’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Made a false statement of material fact
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Kenny!)

As we speak (ca. January 2017) Morris practices in Camden, New Jersey.
