Attorney Michael Pina of Santa Barbara; perjurer

The state of California provided Michael Arthur Pina with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Santa Clara University Law School.

The California State Bar found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mike found it acceptable to falsely testify under penalty of perjury that he was in compliance with his Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) requirements when he was not.

Because Attorney Misfits in California are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Mike was never criminally prosecuted for perjury.

As consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished

Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year term of probation.

As we speak (ca. August 2017), Mike practices with the Law Offices of Law Office of Michael A Pina at 621 West Micheltorena Street in Santa Barbara, California.
