Attorney Allison Worden of San Diego; convicted scofflaw

The state of California provided Allison Christine Worden with a law license in 2000 after she graduated from the University of San Diego Law School.

The California State Bar found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, a jury found Allison guilty of one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice and the due administration of law and two counts of alteration or destruction of a traffic citation, all misdemeanors.

Allison and her coworker, both deputy district attorneys for the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, were pulled over and each received a citation for Allison’s failure to wear a seatbelt.

Subsequently, Allison phoned a family friend, a sergeant in the San Diego Police Department’s traffic division, who agreed to dismiss the citations without talking to the traffic officer. Allison then told her coworker to destroy her citation but the coworker refused to do so. She resigned from the district attorney’s office after the jury trial.

As consequence of her misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished

Allison by gifting her with a complimentary 60-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2017), Allison practices with Gomez Trial Attorneys at 655 West Broadway in San Diego, California.
