The state of Michigan provided Joseph C Bird with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Wayne State University Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #64 found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improper use of an IOLTA account
• Placed settlement funds into a business account instead of an IOLTA account
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Held funds other than client or third person funds in an IOLTA account
• Failed to deposit all client or third person funds in an IOLTA account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting Disciplinary Board punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Joey practices with the Law Offices of Joseph C Bird PLLC at 920 E Lincoln Street in Birmingham, Michigan.
