Attorney Penny Davis of Portland, OR; ethical leprechaun

The state of Oregon provided Penny L. Davis with a law license in 1977 after she graduated from Boston University Law School.

The Oregon State Bar Court found Penny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
  • Intentionally failed to carry out contract of employment
  • Failed to respond to client inquiries
  • Failed to timely communicate with client
  • Failed to timely provide client with copies of written communications Penny received from other persons concerning an estate matter
  • Failed to properly monitor client’s case
  • Failed to act to resolve disputed issues concerning estate matters
  • Failed to protect interests involving an estate

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Penny by gifting her with a complimentary 120-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (December 2016), Penny practices with Davis Pagnano McNeil & Vigna LLP at 111 SW Fifth Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
