Attorney John Bowles of Lake Oswego, OR; thieving loser

The state of Oregon provided John P. Bowles with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Lewis & Clark University Law School.

The Oregon State Bar Court found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Charged an excessive fee (thief)
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to deposit client funds in trust account
  • Failed to promptly deliver client property
  • Engaged in criminal conduct
  • Made misleading (false) statements to bar investigators
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to maintain adequate records of client funds
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Johnny!)
  • Failed to assist clients in collecting judgment against landlord
  • Failed to file federal/state income tax returns for several years

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (December 2016), Johnny practices with Bowles Fernandez Law LLC at 5200 SW Meadows Road in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
