Attorney Elizabeth Baker of Eugene, OR; ethical leprechaun

The state of Oregon provided Elisabeth JC Baker with a law license in 1991.

The Oregon State Bar found Liz guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in sexual relations with client
• Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
• Became pregnant with client’s child
• Continued to represent client who impregnated her in child support modification matter
• Failed to advise client to seek independent advice re: conflict of interest

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Liz’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Liz by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2016) Liz practices with Elizabeth JC Baker PC in Eugene, Oregon.
