Attorney George Lemon of Lewisburg, WV; ethical misfit

The state of West Virginia presented George L. Lemon with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from West Virginia University Law School.

The Lawyer Disciplinary Board found Georgie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly obtained loan from a client
  • Failed to provide client with copy of deed
  • Failed to maintain loan documents

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Virginia Supreme Court punished Georgie by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Georgie practices at 122 ½ North Court Street in Lewisburg, West Virginia.
