Attorney Charles Mickens of Youngstown; slacker

The state of Ohio presented Charles Gary Mickens with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Akron Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with fiduciary probating an estate
  • Failed to advise clients he did not carry legal malpractice insurance
  • Failed to advise client that final accounting not filed with probate court
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2016) Charlie practices at 219 Beachwood Drive in Youngstown, Ohio.
