Attorney William Bell of Cincinnati; ethical gremlin

The state of Ohio presented William Douglass Bell with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Illinois Law School.

The Disciplinary Counsel has charged Billy with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Settled client’s case without client’s consent
• Unauthorized settlement of client’s case caused irreparable harm to client
• Failed to abide by client decisions
• Failed to advise client he did not carry legal malpractice insurance

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Billy by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.
