Judge Richard Kubilus of Canton, OH; ethical dwarf

The state of Ohio presented Richard Joseph Kubilus with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Dayton Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to uphold the integrity of the judiciary
• Failed to respect and comply with the law at all times
• Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary
• Permitted other to convey impression they were in special position to influence him
• Failed to hear and decide matters assigned to him
• Allowed judicial assistant to perform actual judicial duties

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Dick continues to sit as a Canton Municipal Court judge in Canton, Ohio.
