Attorney Taft Foley of Houston; ethical misfit

The state of Texas provided Taft Lavon Foley with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Texas Southern University Law School.

The 157th District Court of Harris County found Taft guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to fulfill requirements for a contingent fee agreement
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff
  • Failed assure office staff complied with attorney professional obligations

As consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Taft by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Taft practices with The Foley Law Firm at 3003 South Loop West in Houston, Texas.
