Attorney Thomas Tate of Fayetteville, NC; ethical gremlin

The state of North Carolina provided Thomas Andrew Tate with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to return client’s file after termination
• Failed to provide info about rate or basis of fee to new client
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Tommy practices at 2210 Skyview Drive in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
