Attorney Michele Ohlson of Inverness, IL; ethical dwarf

The state of Illinois provided Michele L. Ohlson with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Michele guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Michele mismanaged $2,185 in escrow funds that she was supposed to hold in connection with two separate residential real estate transactions.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished LaQuida by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Michele.
