Attorney Michael Callahan of Cleveland; ethical gremlin

The state of Ohio presented Michael William Callahan with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Toledo Law School.

The Mahoning County Bar Association has charged Mike with engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to file client’s personal injury case before statute of limitations tolled
  • Failed to comply with court order regarding withdrawal
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Attempted to settle client legal malpractice claim with client without advising client to seek independent legal advice

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Mike by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Mike practices at 3401 Enterprise Parkway in Cleveland, Ohio.
