Solicitor Euan Terras of Scotland; ethical gremlin

The Law Society presented Euan Maxwell Terras with a law license in 1993.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Euan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Drafted client will making son residuary beneficiary
  • Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
  • Failed to advise client to seek independent counsel re: placing son as beneficiary on client’s will
  • Personal integrity called into question

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Euan by gifting him with a complimentary £8,000 ($10,000) fine.

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Euan practices Spring Terras Limited at 64 Kyle Street in Ayrshire, Scotland.
