Solicitor Craig Grimes of Australia; slacker, liar

The Law Society presented Craig Richard Grimes with a law license in 2009.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Craig guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
• Unconscionable 28-month delay in pursuing client’s divorce action
• Failed for 6-months to respond to fellow solicitor correspondence
• Failed to for 8-months to implement client mandate
• Failed to provide client file to new solicitor after discharge
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Repeatedly lied to client re: status of her divorce action

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Craig by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Craig practices with Anthony Mahon Limited at 48 West George Street in Glasgow, Scotland.
