Solicitor Alasdair Macke of Scotland; ethical misfit

The Law Society presented Alasdair David Mackie with a law license in 1981.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Alasdair guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
  • Engaged in egregious conflict of interest
  • Acted as counsel for landlord and tenant re: commercial lease

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Alasdair by gifting him with a complimentary a fine of £5,00 ($6,200).

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Alasdair practices with the Mailers Solicitors at 88 Henderson Street, Bridge of Allan, Edinburgh, Scotland.
