Former Judge Delmar House of Carthage, NY; criminal

In late November 2016, Delmar was criminally charged with the following felonies.

  • Received sexual favors in return for reducing defendant’s fine
  • Indicted for third degree bribery, a felony
  • Indicted for receiving a reward for official misconduct, a felony
  • Paid portion of defendant’s fine in return for additional sexual favors

In addition, the Judicial Commission found Delmar guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in alcohol-fueled misconduct with another patron at local bar

Prior to the Judicial Commission rendering a ruling that would have forced him off the bench, Delmar took the cowards way out and resigned his judicial office.

All that remains now is to see how long it takes Delmar to cop a plea to the felony charges lodged against him. Hopefully, the sentencing judge with order him incarcerated at the Attica State Prisons so he’ll be roomed up with Clarice (real name Clarence) who is rumored to be the friendliest inmate in the joint.
