Attorney Albert Speziali of New London, CT; idiotic slacker

The state of Connecticut provided Albert Louis Jude Speziali with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Al guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to abide by client decisions regarding representation
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Charged an unreasonable fee
• Failed to take steps to protect client interests after being terminated
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Al!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Al by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2016) Al practices at 111 Huntington Street in New London, Connecticut.
