Attorney Robert Elliott of Marlborough, CT; thief, serial offender

The state of Connecticut provided Robert M. Elliott with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Suffolk University Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Charged an unreasonable fee (thief)
  • Failed to communicate to client basis for his fee
  • Failed to abide by client decisions regarding representation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Knowingly made a false statement
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Bobby’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received four (4) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Bobby by gifting him with his fifth (5th) complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2016) Bobby practices with Robert M. Elliott PC at 7A South Main Street in Marlborough, Connecticut.
