Attorney Shannon Briley-Holmes of Jonesboro, GA; cheating loser

The state of Georgia provided Shannon Briley-Holmes with a law license in 2010 after she graduated from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.

The Georgia State Bar found Shannon guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to promptly refund unearned fees (cheater)
  • Improperly advised client to not appear at protective order hearing
  • Failed to appear at court hearings on client’s behalf
  • Failed to notify court of oral settlement agreement
  • Failed to assure that written agreement was sent to the court
  • Failed to arrange an interview with law enforcement, unduly causing client arrest and incarceration
  • Failed to communicate with client about risks of not arranging for interview with law enforcement.
  • Failed to ensure all necessary actions taken in client’s case
  • Failed to file writ of certiorari on client’s behalf before deadline passed

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Shannon by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (March 2017), Shannon practices at 9186 Fairhaven Place in Jonesboro, Georgia.
