Attorney David Olivero of Peru, IL; guilty of perjury

The state of Illinois presented David Warren Olivero with a law license in 1976.

The Disciplinary Commission found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Made a false statement of material fact to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Dave!)
• Made false statements under oath (perjury)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

Because Attorney Misfits in Illinois are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else Dave was never criminally charged with perjury.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (November 2016), Dave practices with Louis E. Olivero & Associates at 1615 Fourth Street in Peru, Illinois.
