Attorney Robert Corbett of Burgaw, NC; ethical dwarf

The state of North Carolina presented Robert H. Corbett with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Wake Forest University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Purchased property for own benefit from delinquent taxpayers at a time when he was seeking payment for delinquent taxes as attorney for the Tax Collector
• Engaged in conflict of interest
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2016) Bobby practices in Burgaw, North Carolina.
