Attorney Shonna Alexander of Winston Salem; thieving slacker

The state of North Carolina presented Shonna Renee Alexander with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Shonna guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Collected clearly excessive fees (thief)
  • Bad faith obstruction of disciplinary process (Up yours, said Shonna!)
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Displayed indifference to making restitution to clients
  • Failed to promptly refund unearned fees (cheater)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Shonna by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2016) Shonna practices in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
