Attorney Max Ballinger of Greensboro, NC; ethical misfit

The state of North Carolina presented Max D. Ballinger with a law license in 1960 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Max guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Refused to sign consent judgment agreed to by all parties

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Max by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2016) Max practices in Greensboro, North Carolina.
