Attorney Derek St. Pierre of San Francisco; lying loser

The state of California provided Derek William St. Pierre with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of California Hastings Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Derek guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Derek found it acceptable to file a false report to the California State Bar that he had completed his MCLE (Mandatory Continuing Legal Education) requirements during the mandated compliance period when in fact he had not done so.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Derek by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year term of probation.

Because Attorney Misfits in California are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Derek wasn’t criminally charged with perjury.

As we speak (ca. November 2015) Derek practices with the Law Office of Derek St. Pierre at 1934 Divisadero Street in San Francisco, California.
