Attorney Raymond Fairchild of Indianapolis; slacker

The state of Indiana provided Raymond Francis Fairchild with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Indiana University Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Ray guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to advise client her case had been dismissed with prejudice
  • Negligence led to client’s case being dismissed
  • Ray’s malpractice insurer paid client damages re: gross negligence

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Ray by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2016), Ray practices at 133 West Market Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
