Barrister Helen Monckton of New Zealand; lying loser

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Helen Eileen Monckton with a law license in 1980.

The found New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Anja guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in negligent behavior
  • Made a number of serious errors re: real estate transaction
  • Failed to carefully examine power of attorney
  • Failed to assure that trustee was being apprised of status of matter

As a consequence of her misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Zealand Disciplinary Tribunal punished Helen by gifting her with a complimentary 1-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2016), Helen practices with O’Sheas Law Limited at 70 Rostrevor Street in Hamilton, Auckland, New Zealand.
