Attorney Robert Regular of Newfoundland, CAN; serial offender

The Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador presented Robert R. Regular with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Dalhousie University Law School.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Disciplinary Committee found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

Bobby’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Threatened to bring criminal investigation in action he was pursuing for a client
• Caused to be attached property of a party knowing that no attachment order was in force
• Failed to abide by terms of employment given to another lawyer

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $500 fine.  

Bobby’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree        

• Failed to act with integrity
• Failed to fulfill responsibility to an individual lawyer
• Failed to avoid questionable conduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $15,000 fine.  

Bobby’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with integrity
• Engaged in a sexual relationship with a client
• Failed to avoid questionable conduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license and a $5,000 fine.  

Bobby’s 4^th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to fulfill responsibility to an individual lawyer

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2016), Bobby practices with the Robert R. Regular Law Office at 131 Conception Bay Highway in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, Canada.
