Attorney Keith Knowlton of Tempe; ethical leprechaun

The state of Arizona presented Keith M. Knowlton with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Brigham Young University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Keith guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Made improper withdrawals from trust account
  • Wrote checks on insufficient fund account (rubber)
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Keith!)
  • Failed to communicate basis for his fee
  • Violate duty owed to his clients
  • Misconduct involved potential harm to clients

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Because Attorney Misfits in Arizona are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Keith was never criminal charged with writing bad checks.

As we speak (ca. October 2016), Patty practices at 9920 South Rural Road in Tempe, Arizona.

Caution:Keith does not carry legal malpractice insurance
