Attorney Scott Maasen of Scottsdale, AZ; cheater, serial offender

The state of Arizona presented Scott Allan Maasen with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from California Western University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in negligent behavior re: representation of client suffering from muscular dystrophy
  • Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
  • Selfish motive involving misconduct
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Victim of misconduct was vulnerable
  • Charged or collected an unreasonable fee (cheater)
  • Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
  • Displayed indifference to making restitution of unearned fees

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Scotty’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) complimentary admonitions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2016), Scotty practices with the Maasen Law Firm at 8707 East Vista Bonita Drive in Scottsdale, Arizona.
