Judge Kathy Stein of Lexington, KY; ethical dwarf

The state of Kentucky presented Kathy Stein with a law license in 1978 after she graduated from the University of Kentucky Law School.

Gov. Steve Beshear was duped into appointing Kathy as a Fayette County Judge in 2013.  Kathy didn’t get the appointment because she was the most qualified lawyer in the Lexington area.  She got it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Kentucky Judicial Commission found Judge Stein guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly granted custody of a child
  • Granted custody of child to gather w/o giving mother opportunity to respond
  • Failed to accord Mother right to be heard (due process)
  • Failed to maintain high standards of conduct
  • Failed to uphold integrity and independence of judiciary

Apparently Judge Stein believes that the term “due process” is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the am in Lexington.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits punished Judge Stein by gifting her with a complimentary 7-day suspension from the bench.

As we speak (ca. October 2016) Kathy continues to sit as a Fayette County Court judge in Lexington, Kentucky.
