The state of California provided Peter Gregory Schuman with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Colley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.

The California State Bar Court found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

Pete’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to perform legal services competently (idiot)
• Failed to refund unearned fees (thief)
• Failed to respond to client inquires
• Failed to account for or disburse client funds
• Failed to properly maintain his client trust account
• Represented clients with possible adverse interests
• Failed to file complaint on client’s behalf before statute of limitations tolled
• Failed to appear for two mandatory settlement conferences
• Failed to advise client court had imposed sanctions

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
