Attorney Clifford Schuster of Anaheim, CA; lying scofflaw

The state of California provided Clifford Nelson Schuster with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University San Diego Law School. 

The California State Bar Court found Cliff guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Cliff found it acceptable to false report to the California State Bar that he had completed all of his MCLE (Mandatory Continuing Legal Education) requirements during the mandated compliance period when in fact he had not done so.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Cliff by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Cliff.

Because Attorney Misfits in California are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Cliff was never criminally charged with perjury.
