Today’s “Attorney Misfit” Award Winner
Among his peers in the greater Toledo area, attorney E. J. Leizerman has and continues to be considered one of the top 2 Misfits to have ever practiced law. His longtime mentor and competitor is none other than the infamous attorney David Romaine Pheils, Jr. In fact, his peers which include numerous judges affectionately refer to Leizerman as “Sleizerman.” Can ya blame them?
He is also considered by his peers (which would of course include judges) in the Nashville and Detroit areas to be a certified ethical leper-con.
In the recent past, Leizerman decided to use some of his ill-gotten gains to purchase 160 acres of land in Montana and then went about building a large vacation home.
In keeping with his conduct in bilking those who deal with him and in order to avoid for paying for services rendered to him and/or his wife, Leizerman had the chutzpah to file a sham lawsuit against the mason that he employed to work on his luxury estate.
Of course this isn’t the first time that Sleizerman has went about trying to bilk those who have provided services for him. In the past he refused to pay for paralegal services that amounted to over $50,000. He had the chutzpah to testify that he never employed the para legal even though he previously advised a judge in Toledo that this person was in fact his “para legal.”
Congrats Sleazy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record; you are far too modest.
