Attorney Michael Mullison of Greeley, CO; convicted thief

The state of Colorado Michael Mullison with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Gonzaga University Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Forged what purported to be a copy of a divorce decree
  • Pled guilty to second degree forgery, a class four felony
  • Never filed bankruptcy petition for client after being paid to so act
  • Pled guilty to felony theft for taking client’s money and failing to perform the agreed-upon services
  • In eleven instances failed to perform legal services while accepting and retaining payment for services
  • Pled guilty to attempted theft in the second degree

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dave by ordering that he be disbarred.

Several years later, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court had the chutzpah to reinstate Mike’s law License. Apparently, they were of the opinion that Mike had a constitutional right to earn a dishonest living practicing law.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Mike practices with Regina Walsh Adams at 7251 West 20th Street in Greeley, Colorado.
