Attorney Gregory Quimby of Colorado Springs; cheating loser

The state of Colorado provided Gregory John Quimby with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Deposited client proceeds from real estate sale into his operating account
  • Failed to reduce fee agreement to writing
  • Unreasonably charged for processing real estate proceeds (cheater)
  • Improperly charged interest on attorney fee bills
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Refused to attend mediation
  • Allowed paralegal to explain documents to and answer client questions
  • Failed to account for retainer fee
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Assisted non-lawyer in the illegal practice of law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Colorado Supreme Court punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Gregory.

As we (ca. September 2016), Greg practices with the Law Office of Gregory Quimby at 415 South Cascade in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
