Attorney Richard Teeter of Chattanooga; deadbeat, repeat offender

The state of Tennessee presented Richard Brent Teeter with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

Dick’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Improperly placed ad Yellow Pages w/o using his name
• Used Tennessee Trail Lawyer’s Assn logo w/o its permission
• Yellow Pages advertisement was misleading
• Advertisement contained material misrepresentations of fact

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Dick’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Found guilty of civil contempt by Walker County Georgia Superior Court
• Failed to pay court ordered alimony
• Also found guilty of criminal contempt
• Court ordered his arrest and jailing for ten days
