Attorney Charles Caldwell of Birmingham, AL; ethical dwarf

The state of Alabama presented Charles Eugene Caldwell with law license in 1977 after he graduated from the Birmingham School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly accepted fee without prior court approval
• Violated or attempted to violate the Code of Conduct
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary 45-day suspension of his law license.
