Attorney Matthew Marx of Milwaukee; lying loser

The state of Wisconsin presented Matthew H. Marx with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Widener University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Mismanaged his trust account
• Improperly made Internet deposits and disbursements
• Improperly paid $2,618 in personal expenses from trust account
• Failed to maintain and produce requested records
• Improperly authorized deposits by credit card
• In divorce matter, failed to hold client funds in trust
• Failed to respond to client phone calls and emails
• Failed to notify client of his license suspension
• Made a misrepresentation (lied) to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Matty!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Matty practices with The Marx Law Firm at 11617 West Bluemound Road in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
