Attorney Herbert Mendelsohn of New Haven, CT; ethical gremlin

The state of Connecticut provided Herbert I. Mendelsohn with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Quinnipiac University Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Herbie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide client with formal retainer agreement
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Herbie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2016) Herbie practices with the Mendelsohn Law Office at 900 Chapel Street in New Haven, Connecticut.
