Attorney Arthur Meeder of Bluffton, SC; idiot

The State of South Carolina presented Arthur Thomas Meeder with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Virginia Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Art guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Failed to return client phone calls
• Refused to meet with his client
• Engaged in conduct tending to pollute administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct demonstrating unfitness to practice law
• Engaged in conduct demonstrating lack of professional competence (idiot)
• Refused to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Art!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Art by gifting him with a complimentary 5-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2016) Art practices at 140 Cypress Run in Bluffton, South Carolina.
