Judge Vernon Miniard Jr. of Monticello, KY; moronic loser

The state of Kentucky presented Vernon Miniard Jr. with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Kentucky Law School.

The Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission found Vern guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Knowingly violated the due process rights of a individuals
  • Failed to comply with the law
  • Failed to uphold high standards of judiciary
  • Failed to act in way promoting public confidence in the judiciary
  • Failed to accord person in court proceeding right to be heard
  • Failed to follow the law and set bond involving a subpoenaed witness
  • Found witness in contempt of court without conducting an evidentiary hearing
  • Ordered witness to jail and left her there for nearly two months without ever holding a bond hearing and/or conducting any evidentiary hearings

When Vern attended the University of Kentucky Law School in the late 1980s, the school did not offer any classes in constitutional law as it relates to “due process.” Apparently, Vern the Dumbo is of the opinion that “due process” is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the am.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Vern by gifting him with a complimentary 2-week suspension from the bench.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Vern continues to sit as a Circuit Court judge for Wayne and Russell Counties in Monticello, Kentucky.
