Attorney Efrem Sewell of Bellaire, TX; lying loser

The state of Texas presented Efrem Demetrius Sewell with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Texas Southern University Law School.

The District 4 Grievance Committee found Efrem guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Efrem found it acceptable when he knowingly made a false statement of material fact or law to a third person.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Efrem by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 30-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Efrem.
